Back in the Napster days, there were a few entertaining Mommie Dearest music mixes that incorporated choice dialogue from the film, but here’s one that I missed..and it’s good. The accompanying video is a great visual mix to the music, but ultimately you just need to hear Faye Dunaway‘s bitching voice to make it all work.

Normally, I steer very clear from romantic gay comedies. I’ve only ever seen one or two…I should add that I don’t typically watch straight romantic comedies either…there’s just usually not enough blood in either variety. But somehow this movie Adam and Steve found its way to the top of my Netflix queue and I actually liked most of it.
It started out kind of like a hybrid of Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion and Flirting With Disaster..and Parker Posey is FAT in it..so that was cool. The highlight however was a dance scene with one of the funniest songs I’ve heard in a while sung by Jackie Beat, “Shit Happens”. Thank God, for that. I want this mp3 if anyone has it!

Great trailers that are better than the actual films that they advertise are high art in my book. I love movie trailers…especially horror, exploitation and most of all, for films that don’t even exist. The trailers that were made for the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino double-feature “Grindhouse” were brilliant little nuggets of trash. The film tanked, but I gotta hand it to RR/QT, they really did it right and their marketing was flawless. Too bad nobody got it.
I finally just watched Tropic Thunder and thought it was one long joke that couldn’t sustain itself, but the fake intro trailers were great and worth the rental. Check out a few stills from “The Fatties Fart 2” — America’s Favorite Obese Family starring Jack Black aka Jeff Portnoy.

I’ve always been fortunate enough to work in places where I could look at porn and filthy stuff on the internet without getting fired. I suppose I was lucky that that was never an issue. I even had a fat bearded co-worker shove his naked, hairy ass in my face while I was sitting at my desk and even that was okay with everyone in the office.
I feel terrible for those who have to be sneaky about their porn consumption during working hours and that’s why I want to make sure everyone I know knows about the Safe For Work Porn site. Watch it with your supervisor, your CEO, your HR department.
